FOLIROOM · Service terms

Terms of service

Draft · Prepared September 16, 2026

Operator details, effective date and detailed conditions for trial start, tax and refunds are not yet finalized. This is not the final version for obtaining agreement to effective terms. We will separately provide finalized terms and important conditions before formal adoption.

1. Service and contract scope

These terms apply to multilingual page production, publication and management between Foliroom’s operator (“Foliroom”) and customers. A customer applies for themselves or a business they lawfully represent. Source content means text, images, video, logos, design and supplied materials from the designated site. Deliverables mean translations and pages created from that content within the agreed scope.

After receiving a website address, we confirm what can be provided and on what terms. Automatic copying of the entire source, identical design/functionality on every platform, signed-in screens, and replication of booking or payment systems are outside the standard scope. Scope, languages, deadlines, revisions and integration are agreed in writing or electronically before service. Before contracting, we also agree on permitted publication, editing and external transfer of deliverables, possible self-hosting after termination, and handover formats, procedures and fees.

Submitting a URL or verifying an email does not create a paid contract or automatic charge. A contract is formed when the customer reviews the conditions and applicable terms, expressly agrees, and Foliroom accepts. Individual agreements cannot contravene mandatory law or unfairly limit statutory rights.

2. Rights to use source content

Customers must operate the submitted site or have legitimate authority to commission the work. Obtain rights needed for copying, translation/editing, image resizing/conversion, publication on a separate domain and CDN delivery, and tell us their scope and limits. Agencies must also verify authority to represent the rights holder or client.

Public accessibility, domain ownership or attribution alone does not authorize reuse. Check each license and permission for commissioned photos, stock images, webfonts/font files, templates/source code, embedded maps/video, logos/trademarks, reviews and portraits. A license limited to the source site may not cover a separate site.

We may request necessary evidence of domain control, authorization or licenses. Domain verification does not establish rights to every item of content. We exclude unclear material or agree on lawful alternatives, and may pause or decline work if required rights cannot be verified.

3. Permission needed for production and hosting

Within your authority, you grant Foliroom a non-exclusive right to perform the service, limited to collecting, copying, storing, translating and editing agreed content, providing previews, publishing approved results, optimizing images, backups and CDN delivery. Public pages may be accessed overseas and routed through CDN servers worldwide.

We allow staff and contracted processors only the minimum access needed for delivery and apply confidentiality and appropriate safeguards. This provision does not authorize third parties to resell content or use it independently for separate business purposes.

Rights to source content remain with the customer or existing rights holder. We seek separate permission for unrelated advertising, portfolios or AI training. After termination, service-purpose use stops; minimum legal/dispute records and limited retention needed for deletion follow the privacy policy and individual notices.

4. Collection methods and prohibited materials

Submit only materials you are authorized to provide. Do not request bypassing access restrictions, logins, paywalls or technical protection, or supply third-party passwords/access keys. We check source terms and access restrictions and use only necessary materials through permitted methods. Permission in robots.txt is not a copyright license.

Do not provide or publish infringing content, impersonation, phishing, malware, illegal goods or advertising, or unlawful incitement to discrimination or hatred. Do not submit unnecessary personal or sensitive information such as national identity numbers, payment details, customer lists or private consultations.

Already-public contact details, portraits or reviews may still raise privacy or image-rights issues. Verify the lawful basis for republication on a separate, globally accessible domain, and redact or exclude unnecessary information.

5. Translation review and publication approval

We produce work with reasonable care within the agreed scope and provide previews. Customers can verify and request corrections to important facts, including prices, currencies, taxes, hours, addresses, specifications, safety information, booking/cancellation terms, advertising claims and contact/booking links. Wording requiring legal, medical or other specialist judgment must receive the necessary professional review.

We publish a version only after express customer approval. Silence or elapsed time is not approval. Approval covers the reviewed version; subsequent material changes are checked again.

Approval does not waive our contractual duties or liability for our fault. Errors within the agreed scope caused by our work are corrected after verification; changes to source facts or additional requests follow the agreed revision/update scope.

6. Updates, integrations and search visibility

Changes to the source site do not automatically update public pages. Tell us about changes such as prices or hours; we confirm the request and explain update scope and timing. Urgent errors or rights concerns may be grounds to request unpublishing independently of corrections.

External booking, payment, map and other services depend on their operators’ terms and availability. We do not copy tracking scripts or credentials without permission. Before integration, we confirm domain registration, renewal and DNS authority and responsibilities.

Approved public pages may be indexed by search engines or cited by search/AI answer services. We provide agreed search-accessibility work but do not guarantee rankings, AI recommendations/citations, visitors or revenue. This does not waive agreed quality or delivery obligations.

7. Pricing, free trial and paid service

Launch offer for our first customers. Valid for 12 months from the start of paid service. The first free month is separate. The yearly discount also applies.

Standard price: Basic ₩66,000/month · ₩660,000/year · Pro ₩165,000/month · ₩1,650,000/year

Standard pricing applies after the offer ends. We confirm eligibility and start/end dates before payment and remind you before renewal. No card registration or automatic charges.

Current listed prices are Basic (one language), KRW 44,000/month, and Pro (up to five languages), KRW 99,000/month, tax included, based on up to 10 and 20 source public pages respectively. We explain actual volume, revision/update limits and extra-fee conditions before contracting. We do not charge unagreed extras.

Before a paid contract, we finalize and communicate the first free month’s start/end, tax treatment, payment date/method and subsequent conditions. The current application step does not register cards or enable automatic charges. If paid conversion or recurring payments are introduced, amounts, frequency and cancellation are explained beforehand and necessary separate consent obtained.

8. Cancellation, termination and refunds

You may request cancellation or termination at hello@foliroom.com. Before payment, we explain settlement for cancellation before work starts, termination during service and cancellation due to our inability or defects. Without explaining and agreeing refund rules, we do not apply a blanket no-refund policy solely because work started or is custom-made.

Where e-commerce law applies, statutory withdrawal, nonconforming-performance and repayment rights are protected. Restrictions for digital content or custom work require the legal conditions and prior notice/consent procedures. Applying under a business name alone does not exclude applicable consumer rights.

If our fault prevents delivery or contractual compliance, we handle correction, refunds or damages under law and contract. Separate agreements cannot impose terms less favorable than statutory rights.

9. Rights reports and removal

Rights holders or authorized representatives may email hello@foliroom.com with affected public URLs, rights and reasons, supporting evidence and reply details. Do not send national identity numbers or unnecessary ID copies. We may request minimal additional evidence where needed.

We review reports and law and take necessary removal, restriction or correction measures. For urgent infringements, exposed personal data, malicious acts or legal duties, we may restrict first and then explain reasons and objections. We generally give customers an opportunity to verify facts and respond, excluding information that cannot legally be disclosed.

Counterarguments and restoration requests require evidence and are assessed under statutory procedure and rights. Absence of a report or customer approval does not automatically remove our responsibility for our own production/publication. See the rights reporting guidance for details.

10. Restrictions, termination and materials

Restrictions are proportionate to violations or risks and start with necessary pages/functions. Correctable breaches generally receive reasons and an opportunity to remedy. Serious or repeated infringements, urgent security risks or legal requirements may lead to immediate restriction, with reasons, scope and objection methods provided where possible.

At termination, we explain link closure dates, customer-domain disconnection, available deliverable formats and handover. Source rights remain with the customer; business use of individual deliverables owned by Foliroom follows individual agreement. Existing shared software/templates and third-party rights are not automatically transferred.

Unpublishing is not deletion of your account and all stored materials. We act on our source servers and CDN, but propagation delays, browser caches, external indexes and third-party copies may prevent immediate universal deletion. We explain action within our control and further deletion requests. Remaining caches do not excuse deletion duties in systems we control.

11. Privacy and confidentiality

The privacy policy separately explains data categories, purposes, retention, processing outsourcing, international transfers and rights. Agreement to these terms is not consent to all processing or transfers. We carry out separate consent or other legally required procedures where applicable.

Unpublished materials, credentials and confidential business information are used only as needed to deliver and protect the service. Where customers entrust personal data processing, we separately confirm purpose, categories, duration, safeguards, subprocessors, return and destruction. Before introducing external AI processing, we check scope, purpose and required notices/consent.

12. Liability and damages

Each party bears liability under applicable law for its intent, negligence or contractual breach. Customer rights checks and publication approval do not exclude Foliroom’s willful misconduct, gross negligence, unfair risk shifting or statutory liability.

In third-party disputes, we share necessary facts and evidence and cooperate to reduce harm. Any claim against a customer requires verifying their attributable breach, causation and reasonable loss/cost. We do not indiscriminately shift all dispute costs or unilaterally settle in a way that binds the customer.

For circumstances reasonably outside our control, such as network failures or source-service changes, we explain the impact and recovery or alternatives. Such circumstances do not alone excuse breaches of our duty of care or valid accrued refund claims.

13. Changes and dispute resolution

Before changing terms, we explain the changes, reasons and effective date. Important or adverse changes allow adequate review and necessary consent; accrued rights are not removed retroactively. Silence or simply visiting the service is not agreement to all changes.

Send inquiries and objections to hello@foliroom.com. Parties first seek agreement under Republic of Korea law; any litigation follows courts with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act and other applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights and dispute-resolution procedures are not restricted.
